got my box of rock from reefcleaners today. i still need to wash and play with it, im excited to get started on it tomorrow. i also got that glo t5ho light. just need bulbs. i was thinking 2 ati purple plus bulbs. i think a purple hue would be cool on the black on black.

while at the lfs we saw some neat little fish for the 75g. but no clowns that i want for this one. i may have to buy online. so boo. maybe if i take my time tomorrow looking i can find something local.
 
Just a warning on the purple plus bulbs, they are VERY purple. I only have 2 out of 12 bulbs as the purples and they for sure cast a distinct purple over the entire tank even with 10 other bulbs on. lol
 
Idk. Ice got one on the 75 paired up with a aqua blue special. We will see. If it's too much I just move one of the bulbs to the ram tank. At least I have options!
 
the rock from reefcleaners is amazing. easy to work with and very little displacement for whats there. still working with it. had a nice little sculpture set up but i couldnt duplicate it in the tank. still have half of it to wash and put under water. i imagine this will be like the 75g, it will take me a bit to see what looks good and make changes along the way.

on a side note about the rock, when i checked out i left a note requesting pieces i can aqua scape with for a 40g breeder, went i got my confirmation of being shipped there was a reply saying "no problem" i received 0 rubble and all the pieces are very usable to play with, nothing that needs to be left out or hidden. every piece looks choice.

i was kind of hoping for some rubble to put in my fuge for the 75g but no way am i going to complain.
 
You should have asked for a couple pounds of rubble, he would have done it. But yeah, I LOVE their rock.
 
the black/white contrast looks cool. midnight angel took no time to start swimming in the new rock work... i guess he thinks its his tank. well i already knew that given how he pushes the banghi out of his way.

i may just buy more rock from them just asking for rubble.

on your vid im confused what your trying to find space for, a place for your ato?
 
For anything really. The ato is a thought, just have no room really for it in the stand, and not sure how to get a large jug or bucket in there. :-(

LOL. Just got one fish and some macro algae for my 125g sump. :)

Almost pulled the trigger on a yellow anthias but I don't know....

So not a very productive shopping outing as far as livestock but lots of good news for my 90g stand. yay!

There is where my rock work is as of now. I didn't wash the rock well enough so it's a little cloudy. The two purple plus bulbs look great. Pictures don't do it justice right now. I'll let the fluval filter get rid of the dustiness and try for some better pics.
