We can't predict Canada prices too much. In US dollars a good, full set costs somewhere around 100-150 dollars. If you are looking at just the tank, the price is around 50 dollars down here.

Same here, about $60 (probably about $57-$58) bucks I think I saw it for

They only had one tank and it was badly scratched. So I decided to leave it. I was very disappointed with the Health of the fish and cleanliness of the tanks and the horrible smell In the whole store. I know its a big box store but I have never seen worse.

Walmart sells a kit like pheniox said for around 100-150 Bucks, everythink you need to set started except heater i think.

Yeah there is a kit at petland for 185 that I will most likely buy. the only thing is that I will be upgrading to a t5 no fixture and to a versa top so I will have a hood and light that I don't need. I can't find a tank without anything at any of my lfs.

Well if thats the case, your better off buying a bare tank.

Eh, the kits are ok, but I for one say that you should piece together the tank yourself. Those kits come with very inefficient filters and overall not-too-great quality stuff. It maybe a bit more time consuming and expensive, but you will be glad you did it. It's your choice, I just recommend what works best for me.

My lfs wants 185 for it do you think it's reasonable.

If I do buy the kit I will still be getting a versa top and t5 no fixture.

Mmm honestly im not sure, Maybe try taking what theyre listing and internet search. Do a price compare and see that you get.

Eh, it looks pretty good, I dunno if I would pay 185 for it though. It doesn't come with decor or gravel, or a stand. I'm not really an expert, so if a true expert could say if it is a good price or not, a bunch of us would be thankful!

I agree to look online, see if there are better prices on it.
