Do they ever try to snatch a fish? I've heard they could eat smaller fish? But they are so cool.

no I never seen them try to snag a fish , It's neat when they clean a fish though one on one side other on other side almost like a car wash

Sounds like you could have a hitchhiker mantis shrimp. They are very smart hunters with the best eyesight possibly on the planet. They will kill just about anything.

I just bought a Reef Octopus 6" Pinwheel Skimmer OCT-NWB150 from a lfs 2 1/2 hours away. I am currently on my way home and have huge anxiety that it won't fit in my sump :/ it is huge! Good news I have a spare tank I could use to build a sump out of just really hope I don't have to design a sump around this skimmer lol.

I know it's a pretty big skimmer but I have plans on using that for my 150g predator that's under construction , I just happened to have the money for it today so I bought the big daddy one

That's the exact one I have for my 90G very happy I spent the $200 on it, awesome Skimmer and yeah its a beast lol hope it fits!

Unfortunately it is too big in every way :/ I can't even get it under the stand soooo on the hunt for a smaller one for now! At least ill have this for the predator build I guess.
