Lol I know! I have to choose carefully what I want to do because there are so many choices and so many things I want to do! But I only have so much money... And space. Lol

Lol yeah that money and space issue gets in the way. I think one would be truly addicted if they sold/downsized their bed to make more room for their tank in their room. Don't think anyone has taken it that far though.

Yeah I do most of the cleaning and taking cage of the tanks around here too my dad does his tank but I'm in charge of the other four and his when he isn't home. Like today, which happens to be water change day I get to clean all five! Lol hey it's better then cleaning my room! Oh and I forgot about this but I don't know if it really counts I have a 2 gallon bowl with my brothers betta as well... I have a moss ball in there so far but I'm gonna get some more plants for it on the weekend. And I have to do more water changes for that one since it's so small... My mom says I spend too much time doing fish stuff or "fishing" as she puts it lol

A saltwater tank would be awesome! I'd LOVE to do a lion fish tank one day! If I knew more about saltwater I would so do that!

Yeah I think it would be fun too! I've researched a lot on it and I think it would be a blast, I just have to find a cheap way to maintain it!

have you looked on kijiji or Craigslist for tanks? I got three of my tanks off kijiji that came with stands (which would actually hold two tanks each) filters (both bio-wheel and underground for all three) gravel, thermometers, heaters, lids, lights, seven extra sponge filters, an air pump, nets, driftwood, and a whole bunch of extra decorations and supplies and all that cost 300 dollars. I could've gotten just the tank and stand with a filter, heater, lid and light in a kit for 300!

And thats a great deal! I check out craigslist frequently and got my 55 gallon from there! But I do have to check out kijiji.

Pshhh... 5? I've got 7 and have plans to set up more soon. And today at the LFS my boyfriend saw their new-ish 330 gallon reef and asked why I haven't set up a reef yet! After explaining that coral would be an expensive meal for my puffers, he understood but also gave the go ahead for a second saltwater tank when we can afford the lighting and equipment.

Haha thats cool! That'd be awesome! and I can't have tons of tanks cuz my parents restrict the amount of tanks I have, plus I'm the only one who takes care of them and with school I don't have tons of time, I don't want to set up all of them and then have to take them down when I'm going to college (if I go far away), and I don't have a decent paying job yet so I don't think I could finance more than 5. I definitely wish I had more, but there are a lot of factors stopping it!

Yeah definitely! Fish are awesome! And its a little more productive and you can get a lake or ocean in your home!

I definitely agree! Not a lot of people seem to do this hobby in my area and at my age, so i never get to talk about it unless i'm at my LFS or on here!

Yeah, my mom thinks I'm nuts but I am out of her house so it is out of her hands. She still gives me funny looks when I show off pics of my tanks like they are baby pictures. At least my boyfriend is happy with my obsession. He even wants more tanks!

I used to play call of duty everyday. I havnt been on that game jn a week. I spend at least 2hours a day studying fish and know the latin names of the fish i like. One year And four months ago i had o e 20 gal tank. Now i have x2 55g tanks a 150g x2 10g tanks and x2 20g tanks. I drive my parents crazy because this is all i talk about and i cant sleep at night because i am thinking about different stocking combos. Ya i am extremely addicted. And the way the prices are going it would be cheaper to be addicted to cocaine lmao.
