Lol it's ok I have plenty of time to wait

I have a crypt wendtii Fl sunset for two months now I got it with only 3 or 4 leaves on it it still has 2 of its origional emersed leaves the brighter ones.and has started sending little plants up around the base of it. It never melted. here's a shot of what to look forward to. Mine went from the size of yours to this in a little over 2 months.

I love my crypts. They started as these tiny bunches here in my 35

Then 5 months later in my 55 gallon

I have gave away a lot of runners and even split them a few times.

Omg I love the way it looks...I can't wait for mine to fill out

I never used root tabs with them. Just excel and they grow like crazy. Sadly I'm having issues now so they don't look as good but hoping to have it all cleared up soon

I don't have any root tabs but I'm thinking they should do good

Yea if you want you can use some. But excel has worked great for me on them

Ok well I will look into that...and I have read that they will melt and then come back once they adjust to my tank...how long will that take do you think

None of mine ever melted but my friends did and i think it only took about 2 weeks and they were looking good again

Ohh ok...well maybe I will get lucky and they won't melt then

My lighting is a 17w I think...and ok i will try to leave the leaves alone as best as I can

Oh you should be fine. When I had them in low light they actually grew best. I've moved mine a lot so surprised they haven't melted

Okwell that's good I'm excited for them to start growing...I think like aquarium plants almost as much as I like fish lol
