I've been reading about these pumps and if it is aimed straight forward the magnetic motor reacts to the magnetic holder and vibrates. Just food for thought.

Now I have 2 of this, don't have any noise complaint, definitely like it. After open the main controller it's clear that the magic is in the motors and not in the controllers like Hydors wave makers. The good news that this motors will work with any custom controller you come up with /PIC/AVR/Ardunio/raspberry/555...
Also easy to sync up 2 or more if you need-want to.

I just can't wait to get mine it is taking forever to get here. Ordered it through a group buy.. probably could have already gotten it if I would have bought it on my own.

I got mine the other day and I love it...I am so glad I never paid the price that Ecotech has on their stuff... The controller that came with mine you can adjust the waves - pulsing and push one button for feed mode and it turns down in night mode when the lights go out... I got the WP40 and it is rocking in my 125 Awesome......

Aside from ebay and fishstret has anyone had success in ordering these pumps from another location? I'm at work and I'm thinking that an order is about to happen lol

You are only using 1 on your 125? It has enough flow?

I got one from that GB. I put it in the tank and it has replaced 3 Hydor 1080 Evo pumps. I have a 120 deep tank. Those things are amazing!! It is not set on the highest settings either. If I set it on the highest setting, it really kicks up a lot of gunk. So it' an awesome setting for nutrient transport.
I also have a Reef Angel controller and they work really well with them. I haven't set them up together yet, but it's in the works. Can't wait!!

Mine just crapped out on me. Purchased in the middle of April. Now according to the terms on the ebay transaction I have to ship it back to the factory for service. hmm...

If you just going to trow it out, I will take it from you for $20+ shipping to Canada

Hope you get your warranty tho.

Mine stopped working July 2013. I had to replace my power supply cord ($2) for mine to work again and its still working now.

I have contacted the manufacturer 3 times. I heard back once asking if I knew if it was the motor, power supply, or controller. I told them it was the motor, and I haven't heard anything back. Maybe their translator took the week off.....
:(

Now they write me back and tell me I have to go to the vendor...vendor says it's not his problem. Buyer beware.
Meanwhile, I'm out close to a hundred bucks.

That is a bummer... I think that is why I never buy from Ebay... I got mine through one of our sponsor on Marsh during a group buy... Hopefully it will not go bad.

I also got my wp40 from eBay and am hoping mr. x's expereince with them is the rarity and not the norm. So far mine has performed well but its only been a few weeks.
