I know I know another post of sexing a Ram but I'm not sure! I want another but first want to see if this a female ir male.
Looks like a female to me, i always go By the body shape, females i have noticed look a little bigger and fatter.
I totally disagree that's why I said female head slope looks female to me.It has a very masculine body... And I can't see any details. So I stick with male.
I totally disagree that's why I said female head slope looks female to me.
It looks like it has a bit of a head point. The front fins are male. Dot looks male. No red on the stomach (biggest sign of male).
I disagree again, head slope looks pretty flat not steep. no dorsal spike (at least looks that way), stressed coloration would make red disappear, dot could go either way with current coloration but I think female. Finnage does look male ish but all other signs point female.
I always go by all the traits I can see not just one in particular the red belly tells female but females don't always have the red belly that's the only problems
Not much traits you can see. After zooming in, the head does look female
Body shape looks like male
Front fins are male
Finnage looks male
Belly looks male
I think it looks like female. Head looks female as you said, but also the body looks rounder, the finnage i cnat tell about, but again the belly looks female! Females have more bulged bellys than males who always stay a little skinnier.
I disagree. I thought so too until I zoomed in. Very linear/male body structure. Head is the only female looking part. And there isn't a red belly present which is the most reliable way to tell. I would understand if that ram is stressed. But it is not.
True, the ram is not stressed, the blue is quite nice on this ram, but i still going with female
