Do you have lots of hiding spots in the 29g?

Is that a thing?! Is that some special in certain areas? I would die if they had that here! $1 per gallon?!

Yeah the 1$ sale is awesome:)
I'm happy petco is in my area.

I have another question about this fish. Do they prefer to be alone or can males be with males and females be with females?

I keep mine in a 30 gal tank with A school of Congo tetras and Synodontis catfish without issue.

I have a petco right across the street! I never knew they did that though. Is it a participating stores only thing? Or all of them?

I had Congo tetras with my krib too. I think those were the only fish he didnt bug the crap out of :p

Yeah petco does it, I think twice a year. Well mine does. I've read that some do it it more often. I think all of them. Mine started today. If you would like to know, you should call and ask. ?

I had my 2 pairs in a 75 with guppies, GBR pair, Pearl gourami, dwarf rainbows, pair of Angels, BN pleco, and corrys. And everyone got along fine but than again it was planted and I made sure it was cave city lol.

I had a lone male in a 10 gallon along with a Black Skirt Tetra, Red Eye Tetra, Madagascar Rainbow, and a small school of Harlequin Rasboras.
Note that the krib was the only fish that hung out in the lower strata of the tank - he was occasionally aggressive to anyone who swam into his plastic log. Other than that he was a joy to observe for the five years I had him.
