While I agree there is no moonlight. I completely disagree it has less coverage and creates shadows. I've never had either of those problems in my 20 high using 1. And I'm growing everything from shrooms to acropora.

Thanks
Is there any rule to place the live rock? Can I put it close to the backside glass? I want to prevent debris and dead zones.

You can use the back glass for some stacking but dont block it all up so no water can get through. And I wouldnt place any within about 2 inches of the side glass, so you can use a mag float to clean the glass. :)

I found more interesting option: 28G Nano reef system [SIG-28G] - $399.99 : CAD Lights, Think outside the cube

28G, rimless, 500GHP pump. 399$ with stand.
vs
16G rimless, 211GHP pump for 270$ no stand.

Good stand will cost me 100-120$ or more (in Canada). So the price is almost the same.

Their PLS50 Nano skimmer is one of the best (of nano). So, this offer is more interesting I guess...

Can I do 10% WC weekly with the good skimmer and this stock:
2x Ocellarie Clownfish
2x Firefish Goby
Some snails, crabs, hermits, shrimps.

Can I add another fish? What is your recommendation?

Cad lights makes beautiful tanks, I've heard there customer service isn't the best though.

Another thing is: Live or Dry rock?
Is there any way to avoid pests with the live rock?

If I need a 40lb, can I use 35lb of dry and 5lb of small pieces of live rock (quarantine them before for 1 week) for Coralline algae (with Coralline Up supply).

And then pass all the corals by Coral RX Coral Dip?

40 lbs in a 16g? As for the live or dry rock, if you want to avoid pests just go dry. It will become live through out the cycle and coralline will develop over time as your system matures and stabilizes.

I think I'll get CAD Lights 34G.
I read that Nuvo 16 can leak...

I don't need to import Coralline?

Any way to sterilize the corals? Coral RX Coral Dip is enough?

Yeah I've heard that too, the rounded corners. No coralline will form on it's own, and the supplements like purple up are a waste of money and can screw up your levels. And yeah coral rx is a great dip.

Dry rock will look like rock over the time? It won't be dead white?
They are porous too?

Do I need to use something like BIO-Spira? Any way to add good organisms, without bad ones?

Thanks

It will get covered in algaes and all kinds of stuff. It doesn't stay white, all rock looks white as the live rocks we use are coral skeletons. That is what makes up the reefs.
In terms of bio-sparta, you don't need the stuff. Just toss a raw cocktail shrimp into the tank and let it go.
Between base/macro rock and a shrimp, you shouldn't have anything bad coming into your tank.

No, but it's not really live. It's just wet sand in a bag, any life that may have been in it would have died off during the retail transport for sure. I always prefer going with the dry.

How about to add some Caribsea LIFE ROCK? They already have all the bacteria, coralline and no pests.

How good it is compare to Marco dry rock?

That stuff is junk and costs to much IMO. Just go base rock and get a small piece of live rock to seed pods and such.

Any way to prevent the parasites? How to quarantine or check it?

For 34G I need 40lb of rock or less?
38lb of base and 2lb of live?

It won't be overstocked with?
2x Ocellaris Clownfish
2x Firefish Goby
4x Bleu or Green Chromis
1x Kauderns Cardinal

Snails, Crabs, Hermits, Shrimps don't play a big role in bioload?

Thanks

I have 50lbs of the life rock, its pretty but its not real coralline, so it wont spread. Its pretty much dyed rock, kinda creepy and really expensive. I won 50lb at a reef conference which is the only reason I have it. My lfs gets $10 a pound for it. It is live rock if its been sitting in the water with the other live rock, so it has the benefical bacteria but not the natural coralline you want.

A 34g will be full if you add all those fish, bordering on overstocking in my opinion.

But is acceptable stock level for a reef? I will able to add some snails, crabs and shrimps?
Or I need less fishes?

I do less. The cardinal and chromis get a lot bigger than you think
