I hope that's at least a 220 with those 2 monsters.

The festae needs a 125 alone. Add the midevil and you will be over stocked and not enough room for proper terratories.

Disregard. I just noticed you have more than just these 2 and Africans in a 60. Really shouldn't overstock with centrals

They are getting along no scars or fin damage that was just a first initial interaction from a few months ago, guess I shouldn't show you what else is in there lol I over stocked for a reason to establish balance, which the guy I go to has done successfully and recommended that I do this to calm it down, he's been doing it for 34 years and just says it'll just be more work, which it is don't get me wrong. I didn't want just one fish so I went the route least traveled, gave it a shot and now they are doing great. I wouldn't recommend anyone else try it though.

That is for African cichlids which is correct. This does not apply to sa/CA cichlids. In fact just the opposite is true for them.

Don't think that's a festae. Maybe a Mayan or barred Midas. Either way, that is NOT a good thing to be happening, whether it proved injurious or not

The reason I said festae is the intersecting Y at the 2nd bar. Cant see the tail in the picture. I thought the mayan did not have this.

It's a Mayan/ false terror a guy sold claiming that it was a true red terror and my dumb self bought it for 50 bucks lol
