So the live sand may be the culprit

We have live sand n shells in our 75 gallon tank... its becoming covered with some sort of black mold or fungus.. we think... we had a major snail attack a couple of months back... killed all the plants .. we just recently got new filters took off the black background and brought a sun glow...

SunGlow 4200K We have 4200k Sun-Glow...tank is recovering from a snail attack..all plants aré reviving nicely

Had 5 orange rio tetras... 3 died immediately after bein in the tank wit my last male betta.. My boy died then another rio died...

I had 5 bettas male n and one female ... All my boys died...:(
