Unknown Sand Bug (not typical amphipod)

Thanks Mr X!...I think I would group these guys with the Tanaidaceans. I'll have to inspect their heads a little closer next time I visit my brother. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Aquarium Advice mobile app

Unknown Sand Bug (not typical amphipod)

Thanks melosa, I did a few more google searches based on that article but still can't find an exact match. Found a few similar ones but nothing exact. The antenna on all the similar ones seem to be long and go out to the sides while these guys seem to look more like horns of some sort. They...

    Coral id please

I'd say the second might even be an octospawn coral based on the amount of tips on each tentacle (a bit rarer but of the same family). Third is an acan coral. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Aquarium Advice mobile app

Unknown Sand Bug (not typical amphipod)

Hey AA! It's been a long time since I've last posted and I finally need your help once again! This one might be a bit difficult as I've already tried googling to try to figure out what this little guy is. My brothers sand is full of them, they burry in it to hide from the light/fish but if you...

    New yellow sebae anemone

I believe they are T5s, 6 blue and 6 white I think. We have been thinking about switching to LED but haven't yet due to the high price. I am very happy to share a success story for the dyed sebae.

    New yellow sebae anemone

So it's been about a year and a half since this thread was started and our sebae anemone is doing great. Our Maroon clown will still not host it though. The tank also went through a night of being electrocuted where we lost a lot of our corals, thankfully no fish though. The anemone was fine...

    New yellow sebae anemone

Sorry for the hold up, the anemone resides on the back side of a rock at the back of the tank. I was hoping to take a picture with my underwater camera but I can't find the battery charger for it...these are the best shots I could get from the front. The anemone is mostly brown but the tips do...

    New yellow sebae anemone

Hey sorry guys I haven't been on here much! The anemone is still alive and doing well! We stopped feeding it anything shortly after my last post and it has gotten better on its own. I'd say it has most of it's natural color back. I am going to try to get a pic tonight when I get home and...
