Hi people, i've not been on here for a while.
I'm after an airpump, something like a rena 200/300, just thought if i could save a few pounds buying a 2nd hand one its worth an ask
Am in the UK
had to get pump out of tank as it had stopped working and not tried getting it out yet.
i have the tank on top of a stand/cupboard and all the wires going into the bottom of cupboard thru a hole in back.
anyway, i couldn't get the plug back thru hole to get it out, as the cupboard is too close...
i fish a lot (posted some pics recently)
i always release them as i go fishing for carp and they live for years, is great when your a regular to a well maintained lake where people care about the fish, you get to know the fish in there and is really good feeling to catch one, put it back and...
cool, thanks guys.
btw the carp pictured is 20lb 2oz, my biggest so far is 25lb
tiger barbs are happy enough, was curious thats all. they a great fish too, was recommended by someone on here, so thanks.
few more
their home
whoops did i post this in wrong forum?
thanks for the info, i'm wasn't too attached to the fish, i've had them for years, and they always help to cycle my new tanks.
might get a couple more tho, as they are really active and great fun to watch.
was looking at aquarium over weekend and noticed that a danio had swollen up and all the scales were sticking out, looked like a bull of white fuzz.
looked through book and it looked as if it was "dropsy"
so removed the fish and had to sacrifice it.
put some treatment stuff in, but not sure...
wow, great advice, thanks..... :D
i have got adobe photoshop, but didn't use it on that pic....
i'm happy that people like my tank :) the tiger barbs enjoy it.
not the best pic, i can't seem to get a good pic, something to do with settings on camera i guess.
colours look better with flash off, but image comes out blurry
well i've had convicts for the last year and recently changed the tank to tiger barbs, which i think prefer soft water.
PH is about 7.6 IIRC
how can i make the water softer?
:(
cost me a tenner for them.......
am looking into this planted tank stuff, and want to have a planted tank, i think i may need to have a re-think of the tank in the future........
it will be ok for now tho, gotta get used to controlling the water conditions etc....
