Comes up as rare when I saw it and started researching it. Also known as Harlequin Shark.
Main difference is the RedTail and Rainbow Shark are Asian and this one is African. This guy is supposedly more aggressive than the RT. But enjoying his colors currently before they fade as...
Been a minute so thought I'd share some new pics
Snakeskin Gourami - 8 inches
Angelfish - 5 inches high
Leaf Fish - 5 inches
L075 Spotted Pleco - 5 inches
Might be easier if you search for someone local to you that is a selling on craigslist. At least you can guarantee they are close by. Offer them a few bucks for some seeing material.
Thanks.
Couple #1 is already prepping. They've claimed the corner to the right of the driftwood in the pic and will chase everyone away.
Except for Brutus (shark), he chases back.
Problem is now trying to find when and if she lays eggs. Will be hard to tell them apart from the sand granules

I don't see anything to heap the blame on the shark based on what's been posted so far. As aggressive as the barbs are with each other, I doubt an occasional chase from the rainbow is going to kill 7 barbs in a month.
Suggest keep providing info and maybe a clue will develop as to what is...
The betta is now settled in and looking to claim territory. 3 gallons is too small for it by itself. The guppies are probably only making it worse. Don't see the aggression going away on it's own. Keep the guppies and get the suggested minimum 5 gal for the Betta.
If he's a do it yourself person, that's probably the easiest way to get him involved. We're always going to appreciate an opportunity to 'grunt' in front of our significant other. Have him build a filter, stand or some other project depending on his level of skill.
I've been there. Fish were nice looking but I didn't get any fish that day. They get their shipments on the same day as Fishtown USA so got what I needed from them since I know them. If Fishtown weren't around, I'd go to Marine as my 2nd choice.
