That sounds like the most probable thing. I didn't even see it until I stirred up the sand though.

I was cleaning out my 5 gallon betta tank today and came upon this creature. I have no idea what it is or how it got in there. It was dead, but it looks like some sort of centipede. Very strange, and a bit disturbing. Any idea what this is or how it got there?

Hello everyone, I've been having algae...lots and lots of algae in my tanks. One of which is a planted tank. I've been considering purchasing a UV sterilizer for them, but I'm not sure if it's safe for the planted tank. Any advice? Thanks!

I have been using this app for a long time and it has been my main link to AA. However, I do not like the recent update which included a whole new interface and such. It is much slower and more complicated. I don't know if this is just me but I hope there will be some improvements soon.
