That's not gravel, its Black Diamond Blasting sand from Tractor Supply Co. I'm pretty sure its the medium grit.

Post a pic of your tank. Could be an issue of feeling insecure. Not enough hiding or cover. Or the other fish could have bullied when you put them in.

Andy would probably be the one to ask for sure, but I've seen him recommend getting all males if possible to reduce territory/pairing issues. If you get all females they can still spawn eggs and will protect them against other angels. The males should get along better in a large group.

If you DO NOT plan on getting any live plants then any LED will work. You could even make your own out of some LED strips, or find a nice cheap one in the lighting section of your big box hardware store, Ebay, Amazon, etc. If you DO or at some point MAY WANT plants then go with the Satellite...

Not really sure. I've seen some really cool 3D backgrounds though so I'm sure someone with some artistic talent could make it really cool.

1/2" PVC and drill holes about every inch. I think I ended up with 1/8" holes but do t remember 100%. Get a cap for one end and a 90* elbow for the other and you should be gtg.
