i haven't put fish in it because i wanted to make sure that it was definitely cycled before i touched it (had a bad experience with un-cycled tanks)...and i was out of a job till now...altho i have had a cory cat in there forever from saving him from my other tank...and there was not a problem...

I have had the tank running for almost a year probably...and i was told it was cycled because i started getting brown algae and then i got green algae...I have had the fish for a little over a week, i usually do a small water change (prob 20% wc) once a week, i feed once in the morning. my...

my water will be foggy one day and the next it will be clear...i did a water check and all the nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia are at 0ppm. the pH ranges between 6.6 and 7.0..., Its a 26 gallon bow front with 3 plants, 2 guppies, 1 corey cat...any ideas as to why my water goes foggy for a bit...

so do i attach this to the tubing & it works like an air stone and forget about the little ramp/ rack part where the bubbles move up and down...or what? lol (prob a dumb question lol)

ya they like just went on sale bc i was watching it. i live in GA and is was 31$....so with the sudden price drop i was a little afraid to get it but my boyfriend talked me into it...

Ok so i shook it...we will see if that works...but i did look at the date on the little packets and it gives you the product number and then it gives you the number 2008....so is 2008 the valid till date??? i knew lfs were bad but i did not know that they would screw me over 2 days in a row...

ya i got it in a tube...thanks, i thought that all the tubes were aquarium plants lol like i said im still a newbie...but that makes sense bc its not in water lol

haha should have looked around lol...o well. I did some more researching and found out that supposedly they are suicide jumpers and will jump out of your tank...any one had these problems? :multi:

Has any one had any experience with killifish? they look beautiful and their eggs are really cheap online, I have a friend that purchased them and a lot hatched...My friend does not have any experience with killifish though. I would like to know if they are community fish or if they are...
