    How much and how often are you feeding? How many gallons do you change and how often do you do it?

    Maybe you don't have enough water circulating and you're having dead spots. Could be that you're feeding too much. Maybe your rock is leaching phosphates.

    How about a goby tank? I can't recommend a wrasse tank because they require a larger tank.

    Have you tested the phosphate in your tank? Have you checked the tds on the water? You should consider on using a skimmer

    I would run purigen and chemipure elite to keep the phosphates at bay and do more frequent water changes. Do you have a skimmer?

    I would remove the bioballs, you have enough rocks. Other than filter floss what else are you using as filtration?

    As your tank matures the diatom will go away. Have you checked your phosphates?

    The only way you will know if you have to dose is if you check the parameters.
