so i have a 26 gallon bowfront thats been up and running for almost 2 months. i noticed my yellow lab's mouth is larger than normal. after doing some research i can see shes holding eggs in her mouth. this is my first experience with cichlids, and i dont know what to do. should i not do...

oh and should i run the hob filter during the cycle? lexi ??

so today i ordered the two koralia 425's and a heater that will be here monday. in my research, i keep reading mixed reviews about hob filters. are they necessary? i was looking into getting this one, but im reading you dont need one? opinions? lexi ??

oh and it came with a regular fluorescent light too. which i think should be ok for since its going to be a FOWLR for a while right? until i decide to add corals then id have to get different lighting. lexi ??

so i snagged a 20 gallon tank, a thermometer, and a siphon tube all for $35 bucks on craigslist. ? winning. going to check it for leaks tomorrow. wont jynx mysef just yet. and then my 20 gal nano tank build can begin ? lexi ??

everything else is normal. except feeding. he doesnt seem to like cichlid pellets, and likes to stay up at the top, so i started giving him flakes, and hes been eating those fine. hes not acting funny. the tank itself is a little over a month old. so hes been in there about 3 weeks. lexi ??

my bumblebees stomach seems to be sunken in. any idea on what to do? have been treating ich on one if my other fish with 50% water changes daily for the past 4 days, raised temp, and aquarium salt. ph 8.4 amm 0 nitri 0 nitra 0 lexi ??
