- I have 2 tanks in my house. Both betta tanks. The first is a 5 gallon heated and filtered tank with a betta named Leo and a snail named Alex. Leo is a fin nipper but has never had fin rot, this has always been a normal behavior for him. He eats from my hand and lets me pet him.
