- I have a 90 gallon fresh water tank. There are a pair of blood parrot fish (male and female) that are 10 years old and 5 inches in diameter. There are three catfish, two different breeds, that live at the bottom of the tank... each about 6 years old. We have a Thai shark that is 10 years old and a foot long. Two needle nose gar live at the top of the tank... they are only about a year old. and a ten inch plycostomus about 6 years old.
