New Aquariamist: failed first try now starting the right way

I don't know (never had this pair) but I wouldn't count on it. I've read threads where the member had the same idea - angels and neons raised together from a young age/small size are ok together - but after about 8 months or so, as the angel grew, the neons "mysteriously" disappeared. The member...

    Two deaths today

I'm sorry to hear about the fish deaths, especially on Christmas. The bloated stomachs look like a case of dropsy. Dropsy is not a disease of itself but it's a sign that something else is wrong - an infection, tumor, organ failure. The red worms could be suspicious. Are you feeding live worms...

Can someone help me? I made a medicine mistake.

Since you can't be sure how much medicine was removed with the carbon, I would start the dosing over again. I would do a 50% water change and then remove and discard that carbon. Start your dosing over again. When you are done with the dosing, do another 50% water change and put new carbon into...

New Aquariamist: failed first try now starting the right way

Welcome to Aquarium Advice! You'll have to choose between the angelfish and the neon tetras or guppies, or, as you put it, evil will ensue (that's clever :)) Neon tetras are the natural prey of angels, and I've also read some posts where members report that angels have eaten adult guppies too...

    40 Gallon Breeder

Very nice! Is that driftwood or something else - it's different! I love the anuabias nana "petite" planted up on it. The substrate really catches my eye too!

fs - dosing spoons - shipped from upton ma

Plethora...LOL I got my set like this at Linens 'n Things. I did get another set before they went out of business. Good thinking on your part to get a bunch. They do make dosing EI in small tanks very easy. I never saw anything like this set elsewhere so if you're in need of something to make...

    CurrentUSA lighting for sale

I have two fixtures to sell. They are both the same. CurrentUSA 12 inch, 18 watt twin tubes, compact fluorescent lighting with moonlight. I will include the bulb - it is about 6-8 months old, so it has anywhere from 4 to 6 months of use remaining. Price is $15 (includes shipping). PM if interested.
