- I have a 30 gal Half-moon glass tank, Marineland C-220 canister filter, 740 power head, heater and LED lights. It iis currently being cycled with 20lbs of live rock and 20 lbs of live sand, My fish store had me add 5 Yellowtail damsels...lost one, but they killed it, not the tank. I am currently seeing some bristle worms, some kind of starfish and a plant or coral growing on one of the live rocks. I am concerned about an area of bright pink on one of the rocks...hoping it is not cyano. This fish store said to bring in a water sample in 2-3 weeks....about 3 more weeks to go now.
