Good to know and yes I'm dosing 4ppm. Is is going to be an issue not having my filter on there? I know the BB is mostly built up in the filter media. Any thoughts on adding a Maxi-Jet 400 power head? Would that be too much flow combined with my AC 50. Sent from my HTC using Aquarium Advice

So, when should I know that I'm adding the right amount? I added 3ml today instead of 2ml, but should I just keep dosing 3ml for a few days and watch for changes and if nothing happens up it to 4ml? If so how long should I wait before upping the dose?
