Oh...also...no, they aren't doing anything else weird, like scraping against rocks or anything.

It doesn't look cottony or slimy at all. More like the scales are gone. Like maybe it could be aggression. I did watch them with the lights out last night and saw a lot more chasing than I see in the daytime hours. I think that must be it. Anything I can do to stop it?

Does anyone know what this is? It seems like either loss of color or loss or scales...seemed to appear pretty quickly. Nitrates are 10, ammonia and nitrites 0, salinity 1.025, temp 78. It is on two of them. They are eating and swimming around fine, showing no other symptoms. Pease help! Thanks!

Sorry for the late update. But it wasn't a good ending. They did all look healthy, I added stress coat and watched the levels...but all died but one within a day or two. I didn't see any signs of disease or anything. It probably was the big, abrupt water change. Sad. How could someone do...
