    Ive just never heard of using super glue for aquatics. I'm sure you can't just use any super glue.. Especially the type that smells like sharpie..

    I would say turn the forty into planted because it only takes 3 plants to grow to fill a 10 gallon. Mix some flourite red in with your substrate and put any bright light on the top and your plants should be growing fine

    Mix some "flourite red" with pool filter sand like I did and your plants won't ever die!

    No don't use super glue! Use fishing line! Thats what everyone uses for moss!

    I would leave the light running about 12 hours a day. Also look into "flourite red", that stuff works great for substrate for plants!

    Ammonia turns to nitrites from bacteria, then to nitrates the least harmful of waste. Plants absorb nitrates
