For your substrate I recommend Eco-Complete. I have it in my 90gal and couldn't be happier with it. As far as plants go we'll need a little more info, like how many watts are you running? Jeff

Thank You all... it is a WONDER hobby that I truely enjoy. I ended up getting rid of the 10gal and picked up a 20gal instead. Right now I just have a blue lobster in there and don't think plants and him will get along too well.
