    Tank cleaning

Its overstocked yes. but its not do able.. your fish are relativly small and if your not losing any then your ok for now. but i would look into a Refugium or look into building one. it will help to naturally combat the nitrites and nitrates in your aquarium to help to prevent horable water...

    My Aquarium Temp

I thought i would share this little bit of information about the temp in my aquarium. New Clown tank help/advice

this is true. i normally buy dry sand or aragonite and mix a little live sand with it. over time the sand bed will develop more of its narual bacteria and its cheaper than buying a crap load of live sand.

    ick problem

As a direct way to kill off th ick you are rght. but the garlic Is believed to raise the ammune system of the fish there for helping the fish to fight the ick off. cant be proven if the galic is the actual reason your fish got rid of ick but im sure it helps in some small way. As for UV lights...

    New Clown tank help/advice

live sand and live rock would be perfect. but you dont need any special lighting to keep the bacteria alive on the live rock or the live sand. regular lighting will do fine. although some people do get the lights for coral just because it makes the tank so vibrent and makes everything stand out...

    ick problem

That is true but you can't treat ick in a DT if you have live rock and live sand. Moat treatments kill off a lot of beneficial bacteria creating a hole new problem. I think i want a QT tank with copper treatment for all new fish.. Once the ick is completely gone from my tank I never want it again

    My DIY tank stand

that looks very good! Ive always thought its better to overkill then underkill.. you dont want 55 gallons or 90 gal sitting on the floor in your house. I made a stand and canopy for my 125 and it is a few hundred dollars cheaper to build it your self wrather than buy one.
