Oh! I have a question about that too.. I have both a powerhead under gravel filter and an on the back filter.. The powerhead is rated at 175gph The filter is rated at 100gph My tank is only 20 gallons so 100gph is what's best right? I only have one Cory cat in it right now The powerhead...

I was going to do 5-6 flame tetras and 5-6 phantom tetras with a Cory cat or two. Was going to do a dojo loach as well, but the betta may replace it. Or anything else showy but friendly that anyone may suggest! Its a 20 gallon tank

I would really like to add a betta into my community at some point after I add my tetra schools I only want one, will it be aggressive?

Is it safe to seal the lip of a tank with silicon? Is there maybe certain types of silicon that will or won't work? Again I'm not sealing any cracks, just the glass panels to the bottom of the tank. I was told its fine but I wanted to check!

I was planning on doing 5 flame tetra and 4-5 black phantom tetra.. They both are definitely bigger than the neons, and if I get the angel when its really small will that help with the community? What types of angels are my options with tetras?

Hey there! I'm new on the forum and I'm getting my first aquarium tomorrow! Its a 45gallon corner tank, and I was wondering if there were any types of angelfish that would be okay in a tank of tetras and cories.. Maybe a dojo loach also

I was told today at my lfs that I could do a fish in cycle using some cheap goldfish to get the tank to proper levels, and then just put them in my pond when I'm ready to move the new fish in.. Is this true? And is there any links to ways to do the fish in cycle? Does it make a difference if...

A fish or a loach, it doesn't matter as long as it will be friendly with the tetras.. Are there any frogs/crustaceans that could be in with them perhaps? Really anything! I have tons of time to change the stocking plan right now, any ideas are welcome! You could even give me a whole new plan...
