The oscars would be a problem, so I would take those out. The rest seem like plant-compatible. What I did to restart my tanks I'd move the fish into buckets then start siphoning the water outside into a bucket. I'd also suck up the gravel with the water. The gravel would stay in the...
You tank is around 1 wpg which is pretty low maintenance. You just need to keep your nitrates around the 15-25 ppm level and your phosphates around .5-1.0 ppm just as Travis as said. The plants you have are well suited to low light levels but I'm not sure about the Wisteria, Hygrophila polsperma...
I like how you made the glosso look. But since the glosso is growing like that do you think you'll have enough light for HC?What kind of lights do you have? How many wpgs?
It looks so lush and green, too bad it got ruined. My question is that at Aqua Forest in SF they have a tank with *really* think HC and it didn't float of like that.Maybe it's some secret that they will have to tell me next time I go.I'm not sure if it will work but try using a flashlight where...
I agree with cz, dwarf sag was too big for my 20's foreground when I had it at medium light. The tank is nice and luch, hopefully you're Apistos will breed un expectedly like mine did.But I never really got to raise the fry and one day they disappeared.
I got them from Ocean Aquarium in SF.They really cool fishies, occasionally schooling together in my 20 which when I put them in 6 wasn't enough.Unfortuantly I lost all my rasbories.Hope you have a good time with them, they're really cool fish.
Hm...I *think* they do...just can't remember correctly.Maybe answering posts just after you wake isn't a good thing lol.Well if they were fed live foods from the breeder they probably colored up better than the ones I found at Dolphin Pet Village.P.getrudae...another beautiful rainbowfish, I saw...
Psuegdomgil furcatus are wonderful little dwarf blue-eyed rainbows and the males look absolutely stunning.I have about 4 males and 2 females and they actively swim throughout the tank, another plus is that they don't prey on dwarf shrimp which I'm happy with. Dwarf rasboras are also cute little...
