- I got my first fish tank in May 09 after a sciende assigenemnt about the Aquaculture industry. Apart of this piece of assesment we had to care for a few fish in small groups and have been hooked ever since! So i decided to set up my own at home.
About the tank:
4ft x 24 x 18
1100 L/h internal filter
1800 L/h UG Filter
5mm gravel
A few large rocks
Hollow wooden log
30 neon tetras
2 silver sharks
4 rainbow sharks (2 albino 2 normal)
About 20 small guppies (left over from the school breeding assignment)
2 glass catfish
4 glass shrimp
and 1 bristlenose
School holidays comming up so plan to spend a bit of time and money :)

40cm x 27cm x 22cm jsut a little on :)
Small air driven sponge filter
little rock cave and a sml terracotta pot
couple of plants
1 blue claw crayfish (probably about 6-8cm?)
4 small guppies
also added some feeder shrimp for him to munch on, the first time i put them in he went nuts!
