Actually, even if she's a he, I'm keeping the name Lady Thiang. We can say that my little fish is in drag. Lady Thiang was the king of Siam's favorite wife in The King and I, and I kinda feel like my little betta is a bit of a drama queen, so it still suits "her." LOL

I'm fine with it being a male. When they're labeled as "baby girl" in the pet stores, they are usually left for dead, because everyone wants a glorious male. So, I like the thought of having saved a fish who would have, otherwise, gone unnoticed.

Even with a magnifying glass, I'm having difficulty getting the correct angle to have a good look. Sometimes I think I see a little spot, but then I can't really tell. But man oh man, there is an enormous bubble nest brewing!

OK, FINALLY! Here are my cute snail pics! I named him Leftie. One pic is of him just posing on a leaf, basking in his magical, aquatic life. The other one is him hitching a ride on the floating log. Very comical...

Sarahm, I am hoping this upload works. I have not been able to successfully upload pictures to this website, for some reason. I have an image selected, but I can't guarantee that it will work.

Since I'm really new to fish keeping and aquariums, I am still not entirely sure what the term nano tank means. Does it mean small? Or a non-traditional shape? Anyway, I would love to have a tank like this, and I love the tree!

Just to be clear, the betta I am inquiring about is NOT the one in my profile pic. The one in question is all one color - solid teal blue, with the tiniest white tips on the two front fins. Do you still feel strongly I have a male baby? Thanks for your reply!
