Threw out all of my plants today. they were melting back and looking.just plain gross. Can someone suggest low light plants to me that I can get on aquabid, I don't use co2 I just use 2 60w daylight.bulbs. Thanks everyone.
I have mine with some cherry shrimp, and all is well. But I'm not sure how your angels temperament is. But they're cheep so it's not like you'll be wasting big bucks. Maybe try a large bamboo shrimp.
I'd say it's pretty good, especially since the footprint of the tank is bigger than a normal tank. so you could easily bump the Cory school up to 6 or 7.
I decided I would like to.go with a female betta instead,.due to the shorter fins, I don't want them getting nipped plus the current may be too strong.
I won't do pairs, at least not male and female. Let's say if the rams are chill as well as the betta, would this stocking arrangement work?
2 male German blue rams
1 male betta
7 harlequin rasboras
3 swordtails 2/f 1/m
3 Otto cats
I have 2 bettas in community tanks with angelfish and rams, so basically I'm saying, a betta is a must for me. And I've known countless people that babe done the same successfully, I'm not gone do it without the betta.
I'd really like to keep the betta, to me a tanks not a tank without a betta. Besides, I've kept my betta successfully with German blue rams, angelfish, Mollies, guppies etc.
