Thanks guys, a female has eggs on her swimmerettes(under her) now. Anyone know how long until they hatch?

They have arrived! I got them today! They were bigger than I expected, and there were tons of little tiny babies! (don't worry, I have panthose over the filter intake) I think two or three of them have egg "saddles".

I guess Ill just have to see when it seems like its too much for my tank, it sounds like its different for everyone and it depends on certain things.

Yea, the LFS said they preferred 3/4 to 1", but if it was getting overcrowded they could take babies. Or could I feed babies to my betta?

Thanks! I have a 3 gallon, but I live near the store, so I wont let too many build up, I just made sure there are alot of climbing/hiding places like java moss, rocks, and plastic plants.

Are there any relatively cheap chillers for a small 14 gallon biocube that keeps it around 74-78 degrees?

I'm going to start breeding red cherry shrimp for my LFS, and I have the tank set up, and they should be getting here this week. I was wondering if anyone has any advice. Also, do I just feed them algae wafers? I have some frozen bloodworms from my betta too. Thanks! :D

Am i understanding how to use bio spira? First you fill your aquarium with dechlorinated water Then you add the bio spira Then the next day you add your fish?

Are there any types of lionfish that can go in a 14 gallon biocube? Some places say a min. of 30, but they also say 20 gallons for a clown fish... And what is their growth rate because the size I can buy them at is 1-3" Thanks!

This happened to my other betta. It looks just like it does now, except it was in a tank all by itself. It's under the thread "Help! Sick Betta".

Yea, its heated it is about 78-80 degrees, and its not cottony so I think it is Ok, ill keep an eye on it. Thanks everyone!

OK thanks, I was just using the medicine to maybe prevent infections, not saying that I thought it was fin rot. You can see that the fins under it has white tips, is that fin rot though?
