    New leather, problem with rock

You could try using zip ties to hold the rock together temporarily. For a more permanent solution try using a marine epoxy. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=3962&Ntt=epoxy&Ntk=All&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Np=1&pc=1&N=0&Nty=1

http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=97712-270-11A-542Q711&lpage=none I purchased this mower from Lowes last spring and like it a lot. It has a really simple choke mechanism, you simply slide the choke lever to the choke position and pull the cord to start it. The...

    how to cut acrylic

It would be a good idea to radius the corners of the cuts as well. A square corner can create stress risers wich can lead to cracks. A rounded corner helps relieve the stress.

    Critter Id

I checked it out last night after lights out and all of its tentacles were up in a vertical position. I also found a second one tucked a piece of live rock. the second one is much smaller and only about a quarter of inch across.

upgrading to a 180 ongoing quetions & cost tally

$250 sounds like a great deal if you are talking about completely framing up the closet including drywall. If it is just for a short load bearing wall I think that it is a bit steep

    Critter Id

It has been in the same location for at least the last week. I did see something similar to it a long time ago in another area of the tank. But havn't seen it since. I don't know if this is the same organism or a different one. I havn't seen it eat anything. It currently is in an area of...

    Critter Id

I think that it probably came in with the live rock. If so, I've had it since June or August of 2004. I was looking thru Calfo and Fenner's "Reef Invertebrates" last night and I am wondering if it maybe is some sort of Holothurid (Sea Cucumber) I remember a slug sort of thing that was...

    Talk about Irony

I have been having a bit of a problem with Aptasia. So last night I purchased a few peppermint shrimp from the local pet shop. After acclimating them, I started to add them to my tank. One of them swam down and landed directly in the center of one of the larger apt’s. The Aptasia immediately...
