I don't think you can over feed fish. It's no good for your water quality, but there are few fish that will eat themselves to death. I worked in fish reserch for a while, and fish on stuy would be feed 3-4 times/day until they stoped eating. We would even feed younger fish 6-7 times/day.

problematic?? You can kep them for half a year before they get too big. When that time comes get ride of the and get some more.

river tank I've got a 15 gallon tank that i stocked out with fish from creeks around here. It's not totaly legal, but it's bad ass. I'v got 2 largemouth bass, multiple darters, 2 crayfish, 4 northern hog suckers, and 4 sunfish. They are all just little guys now. With enough cover these guys...
