I am lucky enough to get filtered sea water from a local aqua culture program for free. It's is not the most pure but it is filtered to 25 microns and I also test it for trates and phosphates before taking it home. Been using it for 3yrs now in my reef with no issues. Once I buy a home I will...
Yes, the feeding is not needed but if you still wish to do so the bottle trick works well, for me anyhow. My female clown does the same thing. My Duncan doesn't mind her anymore but when I do feed it I use the top half of a bottle to isolate it.
55 gal DT with 55 gal sump. DIY stand, canopy and skimmer. Koralia 600gph and a maxi-jet 1200 in circulation mode plus the return pump putting 350 gph into the tank. CPR overflow (forgot what size) to the sump and an aqua lifter keeping that primed.

I made mine from PVC. I used 3" PVC at 24" tall for the main reaction chamber and .75" PVC for internal standpipe for the return. 3"-2" reducer for the top and I had some 2" PVC laying around. That was used for the collection tube up into a plastic bowl I had also. The base is a 3" PVC toilet...
See I wish I could add him, his active and would be the only damsel per say other than the clowns. Since they are bigger and there is plenty of room there's a shot things will work out. However, this fish will get bigger than my clowns in the end and I don't want to risk issues later on. I just...
