I have a relatively new Betta named Napoleon. This is my first fish. I've always wondered if you can teach fish tricks, and the answer is yes. Yes, you can.
I taught my Napoleon to go to the top right corner of his tank and flare when he is hungry. I'm currently teaching him to flare when he...
The rim of blue around his tail looks a bit dull, but it hasn't spread or deteriorated, so I think you're right.

you should switch the two biggest pieces around. move the green fuzzy piece to the left, and the wood to the right to it points up to the fuzzy piece and keeps your eye moving. :)

there isn't a lot of discoloration on the tips, so watch him closely to make sure he isn't nipping his tail. sometimes the ones with bigger fins will "trim" themselves to make it easier to swim. keep his water tidy, and i'd recommend quarantining him with dissolved aquarium salt water (once...
personally, i love my ADFs. they're small, they don't fight with my betta, and they're actually really fun to watch. one of mine has a bubble fetish - he sprawls on the hood of the filter so the bubbles float up and tickle his belly!
