I do flake/ hikari pellets(green and red)/ frozen bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp for a treat. Both like all of it very much.

Every bout of ick ive ever had (3 in two years due to new fish) has been treated with a gradual temp raise to 83-85 for approximately 5-7 days with increased o2 during that time. Works every time.

IMO the adult size they will reach would make them overstock the tank. They like school of 6 or more.

Its been a while since ive been on, but I have since re-done my 20 long. It is stocked with 1 balloon ram, 1 male betta (he's been in there for a long time and hasnt caused any problems), 5 neons, 5 glo-light tetras and 5 zebra danios. They all get along and the ram and betta actually "hang out"...

I have 9 tigers and 8 albino tigers with 2 blood parrots, black skirts a krib and some gold barbs....they do just fine as long as theyre in groups of 8 or more

The fact that you have 3 blood parrots kinda scares me. Blood parrots can grow to a minimum 5 inches. The general rule of thumb I used is atleast 40 gal for one and an extra 30 gal more for each additional one. That puts you at 100 gal for a safe size tank with 3 blood parrots. I would stop...

I think your very understocked and have all the potential in the world right now. I like your list mainly because im a fan of black skirts (first fish i ever had) I have had great success with gold barbs which i think get a bad wrap because of their barb name, but ive had mine with everything...

It really depends on the tank their in and the group size. If they have a lot of real estate to cover then they are more likely to school and usually you will get a good schooling look when theyre in about 10 because you usually have one or two that stray off.

I have to completely disagree here, I bought a juvi electric blue jack and that thing was like having a blood parrot. It would come right up when it was time to eat and was all over the place. It ended up dying because i had it with a breeding pair of kribs and they had fry without me seeing and...

When i bought a tank last year i had the same thing. I asked them when they changed the water, cleaned the filter, etc.. and they were like...we just turn the lights on and feed them :taped: Just watch out because she will likely be in shock with the new clean water.

Update : Got one of the ac110's set up last night and that was a pain because I had to drain the tank like 70% so I could scoot the whole thing 1 inch to get it to fit but its cool cuz I had to do a large water change anyways since my ich is almost gone. Things are definitely almost done. Just...
