When I put the LOA on main tank in just a couple days the macro algae took off and some mushrooms and polyps brightened up. After some of you talking about life of the LOA I'm going with 660 on main tank and try LOA on refugium. I think the LOA has potential if it will last. :idea:

The color is pretty white. I didn't see much blue but I'm also a bit color blind. I did put a 20 watt 50/50 on with it and saw things on LR I had never seen before. The big thing I am still trying to figure out. If the watts rating is amount of electric used. 65 Lumens is light intensity. 8200...

Just picked one up. VERY BRIGHT! I got the shop lite 8255 lumens. Remember lumens is intensity I'm not sure about the color spectrum. Would be good to know. Any thoughts.

Tank is 36"l x 12"w x 24" t. What is best choice? 175 Mh or 2x96 pc or 2x96 vho. I'm going to start with some hardy corals and move up from there. Also would a 4x96 vho be too much for this tank. The water is R\O water I added Reef +, Reef Complete, and Reef calcium. As per garf.org recipe. It has cleared back up today. :D
