Before my ATO would go off and top off maybe 2-4 times a day. Now it goes off every like 45 mins for some reason. My water level is right but, it keeps going off frequently now. Could it be the setting on my MP10 causing waves and triggering the sensor?

I went to a LFS and they don't even use refugiums for their tanks. Quite shocked... Anyone know first hand if a small setup like this is ok?

I am starting back up my hobby and I have been out for about 5 years. I plan to do a small reef tank (30 gallons). I was looking to use a aqueon 55/75 for my filter and a hang on skimmer. Is there anything else I'll need other than some power heads and lights?
