- I have a 10 gal nursery tank. It has one resident pleco, a HOB filter with a cover over the intake. I have several plants and driftwood. the substrate is comprised of fluorite gravel and different varieties of rock. I have several places for hiding and currently one mama platy and 7 baby fry.
I have a 55 gallon tank with minimum vegetation until my amazon frogbit takes off in my 10 gallon. It does however have driftwood with java moss. It is inhabited with 3 neon tetras, one bug eyed gold fish, one young bubble eyed gold fish (only temporary), 2 baby plecos, one huge pleco, a syno cat, 2 male platys and 1 female platy. The substrate is river rock. There are multiple "holes" for my cat and plecos. They do get along for the most part.
