    Some of my Axies :)

I have joined the axie ranks, although he has seen better days. It looks like 2 legs and all of his gill flaps were in the process of regrowing

New Setup for my 125g and my 40g breeder

I have been preparing for a move so I have converted my empty 40g saltwater to a freshwater and moved the fish from my 55g and 6g Fluval edge as well as rearranging my 125g. Tell me what you think, good or bad, I don't mind. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Puffers

Puffers tend to be more sensitive to water chemistry, and drip acclimation for an hour or more may seem excessive, but it's also a very safe estimate and it's so easy to drip acclimate... You're right, it could be done in less, but I tend to lean to the side of caution.

    My Tanks

He loves his earthworms also seems to eat some dry food (tetra sticks) that I feed the oscars/turtle . Black worms, clam meat, and krill as well. Table shrimp is the next thing I'm going to add to his feedings.

    My Tanks

The Motoro was a rescue from a store (not going to bash) that had him in a gravel bottom 30B tank and when asked why he had a red stomach openly admitted it was due to the gravel, yet they still had it in there. He was also super skinny. He loves his new home and with the exception of the turtle...

    Oscar lover

I'm not sure if the aggressor is always the male, but one is usually more dominant and bullies the other a bit. It's not too much of a concern as they won't severely injure each other IME.

Yes, in the wild, when oscars pair off they dig a small divot in the substrate and corral the babies in the divot to keep them safe. They also like to lay their eggs on flat stones such as a piece of slate (or the bottom glass of the aquarium). They aren't immediately going to lay eggs (I think...

How large are the oscars? Mine go off their food a bit when they are pairing off and building their nest/sand pit. Even if they are not fully mature they can pair off early and possibly go off their food a bit. I would watch if one is getting beaten up more than the other and I wouldn't really...

    Is this possibly my problem?

Thank you, unfortunately I think my nem and corals may be too far gone to save at this point but I was awestruck when I would routinely have great parameters yet my entire tank seemed wilted and even the hardiest of corals died (GSP, xenia, Kenya tree) but they all seemed great for like the...
