- I have had a 27g hex tank for about 5 years now. It is a very healthy tank and provides me a lot of enjoyment. It is basically a tetra community tank. I wouldn't consider myself an expert by any means but I do a lot of research before making purchases. I recently bought my children each a small 1.5g tank because they enjoy helping me so much with my tank.
