Hello all, I made a mistake with my 46 gal. freshwater tank... I added algae-fix instead of Stress-Coat (the bottles look the same) when I was changing the water and it killed all the fish. So now instead of restarting a freshwater tank, I thought I'd do saltwater FOWLR. Is this doable...

I should add that the tank is a 46 gallon community tank with 4 swordtails, 1 platy, 2 dwarf gouramis, and four mollies. So I don't think it is overstocked.

I was thinking that maybe the filter could have gotten him, but he wasn't that small, and the filter tubes have a little gate or screen on them. I run two filters (an AquaClear 70 and Eheim Ecco Pro).

Hello all, One of my female platys has developed two or three bright red spots on her sides.... they look like they are bruises or blood spots. could she be sick? or could this happen if she was sucked against the filter? Thanks, Bill
