Im wanting to start a new sw aquarium soon and i am wondering if i need an RO/DI or if my tap water will be fine to put in the tank, or should i get i think its called well water from walmart from the culligan machine. Thanks!
I plan on getting a new 55 gallon sw aquarium with 1.5-2 pounds of live rock in it. I'm not really sure how much that will weigh once i add the water. I just want to be safe but would that amount of weight be safe for the second floor of my house up in my room?
I thought there was no need to have a filter as long as you have live rock and a skimmer and a cleaning crew. Do you have the filter becasue you dont have skimmer?
FOWLR stands for Fish Only With Live Rock. Which is just saying what you have in your tank. As for the 10 pounds for 5.99 that is a great deal as long as it is good quality rock. Most online suppliers charge as much as 5 dollars per pound.
Roka what type of filter do you use in your tank?
