    Powerhead Failures/Fire

    I've heard of submerged powerhead failures, resulting in electrical arcing (blue "flames"), smoke, bubbles, etc. and ultimately the loss of aquarium contents and/or fires. Does anyone have firsthand experience on this type of aquarium failure? Photos? Still have failed motors? I'm an engineer...
