    Kalk

ph should be at its peak during your peak lighting hours, rising when your lights go on, and falling when they shut off. I drip kalk overnight to help keep it stable overnight at about 8.2 . the spike from kalk is usually pretty quick. I like to keep a slow steady drip, it takes about 9hrs for a...

    Kalk

Do you have a open top or is it covered? is your house very well insulated? I had the same issue so I put my air intake for my skimmer right by a drafty window and took my glass top off, and my ph went from a 7.7(night)-7.9(day), to 8.0(night)-8.2(day). I also keep my fuge lights on opposite...

if you have enough live rock you really shouldnt need any additional filters, unless you need a place to put carbon or gfo.

looks like some tissue ripped. keep him in lower flow and try to keep the area free of algae. he should recover. if he starts looking worse maybe try an iodine dip.

    Coral beauty

My ebili was good for about 9 months. a perfect reef citizen. then all of a sudden i lost a few zoa colonies, and my blastos. now a year+ in a bigger tank and he nips at everything, especially if i'm looking at the tank. he knows i'll feed him to make him stop eating the corals. thats the thing...

    Coral beauty

I bought a ywg at same time as firefish, and he's doin great! probably because he found the pistol shrimp and lives in his tunnels where angel cant find him. I see angelfish looking around in that spot alot waiting to get him, just like he did with the firefish. Its like he's on patrol or...
