thanks Mr x i thought it looked cool too like some kind of weird science. i plan on replacing the air stones every other month or when needed,just didn't want to buy another venturi pump for the skimmer since it was already on its second pump.

im interested in what your planning if you don't mind elaborating, were not running a skimmer since we built a algae turf scrubber,not completely sold on the whole idea yet since i have run a skimmer on every sw tank I've owned. i just keeping checking my parameters for now
