- I have a 10 gallon freshwater tank with two mickey-mouse platys and two zebra danios. Also I have one small plant that I do not know the name of. The substrate is a blinding neon blue and the filter is a whisper 2-10, which is the cheapest one at Walmart. The tank have been running for a little over a month.
